Time for Soccer
It's time for soccer! This is Cole's first year to play in the AYSO league. And, let me just say he is cute as a button out there! Their team name is The Tiny Tankers. They have green and black uniforms so ofcourse Cole's new favorite color is green! Cole is #17 so Addie definately must have a onesie that says "#17's lil sis". Today was their first day of practice! Paul is an assistant coach on his team so it's going to be a fun season! Here are just a few pics Paul took today at practice.

The First Day
Today was Cole's first day of Pre-K. I have dreaded this day for four years because it would mean that my baby wasn't a baby anymore. I think I was more nervous than he was. He slept like a baby last night while I watched every hour roll by. For the first time in several weeks, he didn't fuss to get up and get ready...he was EXCITED that the day to start big school had arrived. Ofcourse, the mommy in me wanted ten thousand pictures, but he informed me only a few!
He held my hand tight as we walked into the Pre-K building...a little nervous at the new place he was entering. Mrs. Welch was at the door of Room 35 to greet us and welcome Cole to a fun year of Pre-K! His room is very colorful and cute and full of lots of fun things to do. I tried to get a picture with his teacher, but that was not gonna happen! We said our goodbyes and the door to Room 35 closed. I have to admit I was very emotional because here I was, handing over my baby. But, the smile that greeted me today when he got off the bus at my school assured me he was in wonderful hands! After hearing all about the fun things he did today at "big school", we headed down to McDonald's for our traditional first day of school dinner.

Skating Superheroes
My lil superhero is turning 4 so ofcourse we had to have a superhero party! This year we had his party at Skate Palace and it was so much fun. Even though Cole would not put a pair of skates on, he ran, played, and danced his little booty to all the good music. I was so happy with his birthday cake. Not only was it delicious, but Bailey's Bakery did a wonderful job making Cole's cake "super cool"! Even Addie joined in the fun with her superwoman onesie and bow! Cole's big gift this year was a shiny new 4-wheeler! He thinks his new ride is so cool and suprisingly, it goes pretty fast! I may have a future racer on my hands!

Happy Mother's Day
Mother's Day was extra special this year because we were able to dedicate Addison Claire at church this morning. She was so precious in her little white dress. I got tickled because Brother Gil asked her where her shoes were! He must have forgot how cute it is to see little feet sticking out underneath a sweet little dress!
It seems like everyone tries to find the perfect gift for Mother's Day. But, my friend said it best. The best Mother's Day present is getting to be a mom to Cole and Addie everyday. I could never ask for a better Mother's Day gift. Happy Mother's Day!
